Patriot America Plus insurance provides coverage for the acute onset of pre-existing conditions for individuals under the age of 70. This means coverage is limited to sudden, unexpected outbreaks of a condition requiring immediate medical care, not chronic management of a pre-existing illness. Coverage is available up to the policy maximum, with specific sub-limits and restrictions applying. 

What is Covered

  • Acute Onset

    The plan covers a pre-existing condition that suddenly and unexpectedly becomes acute, requiring immediate and necessary treatment. 

  • Age Restriction

    This coverage is available to insured persons under the age of 70. 

  • Policy Maximum

    Coverage for the acute onset of a pre-existing condition is up to the policy maximum specified in the plan. 

  • Emergency Evacuation

    In cases where an acute onset of a pre-existing condition requires an emergency medical evacuation, the plan provides coverage for this service, up to a maximum of $25,000. 

What is Not Covered

  • Chronic Conditions

    The plan does not provide coverage for the management or worsening of a chronic pre-existing condition.
