Yes, you can purchase Patriot America Plus after arriving in the U.S., but eligibility requirements and coverage details apply. For travelers under 65, the policy can be bought up to six months after arrival, while those 65 and over have a 30-day window to purchase it. Be aware that coverage for pre-existing conditions will not include conditions that existed before the policy's effective date.  

Eligibility and Purchase Window

• For travelers under 65: You can purchase the policy up to six months after arriving in the United States. 
• For travelers 65 and over: You must purchase the policy within 30 days of your arrival in the U.S. 
• For Green Card Holders: If you are a Green Card holder and your primary residence has been outside the U.S. for the past six months, you may be eligible. 

Important Considerations

• Pre-existing conditions: 

  Any pre-existing conditions, illnesses, or sicknesses that occurred before the policy's effective date will not be covered. 

• Recommended practice: 

  It's always best to purchase visitor insurance before leaving your home country to cover your travel time to the destination. 

• Coverage Duration: 

  You can purchase Patriot America Plus for a minimum of 5 days, up to a maximum of 364 days, with the option to renew for up to 24 months total.
