Can I cancel Patriot America Plus if I change my plans?

Yes, you can cancel your Patriot America Plus policy if you change your plans, but a full refund is only possible if you cancel within the free-look period before the coverage begins. After the effective date, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged, and you will receive a refund for any full, unused premium months, as long as no claims have been filed. 

Cancellation Before the Policy Effective Date 

• Full Refund: 

  You are eligible for a full refund of your premium if you cancel before the coverage period begins.

• No Cancellation Fee: 

  There is no cancellation fee for cancellations made before the policy's effective date.

Cancellation After the Policy Effective Date

• Cancellation Fee: 

  A $50 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel after the coverage has started. 

• Prorated Refund: 

  You will receive a refund for any full, unused premium months. You will not receive a refund for the current month if you cancel in the middle of it. 

• No Claims Filed: 

  This refund policy only applies if you have not filed any claims on the policy. If you have filed a claim, your premium is non-refundable.

• Written Request: Submit a written cancellation request to IMG Global. You can often email this request to cancel@imglobal.com or submit it through the broker or website where you purchased the policy.
